Shot Doc Nation is a youth empowerment organization based in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Our focus is preparing the youth for tomorrow with physical conditioning and mental strengthening provided through basketball camps, sports clinics and skill development through individual workouts.
We work to bring the love of the sport, knowledge of the game and the instructional experiences to young people desiring to hone their skills to go to the next level in their sport and life.
Keith Veney, CEO and founder, allows his own experiences, education and passion for the youth to bring forth the best player. During his travels as a professional player/businessman. Mr. Veney has been providing individual instruction, like skills sessions and public speaking to those seeking to grow, enrich and change their lives.
Keith "Shot Doc" Veney has shared his basketball experience, education, and passion to bring out the best in amateur and professional basketball players. He has travelled across the world training athletes at each level from 6 years of age to Professional NBA MVPs and potential Hall of Famers.
Keith has trained multiple professional players such as NBA All-Star and MVP Dirk Nowitzki, NBA Finals MVP and All-Star Paul Pierce, NBA All-Star Caron Butler of the Dallas Mavericks, and Ben Gordon of the Detroit Pistons. Keith has helped improve their shooting to make them some of the best shooters in professional basketball.
